Although phone calls are generally answered almost immediately, customer support quality is very low compared to other online wallets. Citadel’s phone support is based in Costa Rica and customer service representatives clearly lack English-speaking skills. Furthermore, they seem to be quite unknowledgeable about basic company information, such as currency exchange fees.

Transaction Limits

Once you are a certified member (accomplished by sending in an ID and utility bill), there is no bank deposit limit and your withdrawal limit increases to 10000 GBP per day.

Debit/Prepaid Card

Citadel does not offer a debit card.

Peer-to-peer Transfer

Citadel allows transfers to other members for a 1% fee (paid by the recipient).

Exchange Rates

Citadel uses the currency exchange rates posted here http://www.exchangerate.com/. For any money transfers between accounts in different currencies, Citadel will charge you a 1% fee.

Refer a Friend

Citadel does not have a referral program for referring other members but they do offer a 25 Euro payment when you refer merchants.
