Click2Pay Overview

Compared with most online wallets, Click2Pay offers premier customer service. Phone calls are generally answered immediately or with very little hold time. Emails, as well, are responded to rapidly. However, the most outstanding feature of Click2Pay is that they don’t charge currency exchange fees. Considering that the average online wallet charges about 2%, it is apparent that a large amount of money could be saved if you often deposit into a gaming site in a different currency. In contrast to their benefits, Click2Pay has a rather poor user interface. An especially annoying aspect is the inability to see what your balance was on a particular day.

Funding Methods

Funding your C2P account is unique and somewhat quirky. Users do not need to manually fund their account. Instead, a C2P account is tied to the user’s bank account or credit card. When a deposit is made at a gaming site, the funds are directly debited from your bank account or credit card. Unfortunately, this feature cannot be turned off. If you happen to deposit more than what is in your bank account, you may be charged an overdraft fee by your bank.

 

Transaction Limits

New users are assigned a star rating. Initially, you will have an outgoing transaction limit of 500 (of your C2P currency) per week. This limit only applies when your C2P account is empty and you are debiting from your bank or credit card; it does not apply if the money is already in your C2P account. As shown in the following list, your outgoing limits increase as your star rating increases.

1-star: no outgoing transaction allowed, rating increased after a verification phone call from C2P.

2-star: 500/wk, after spending 750, rating increased by scanning or faxing verification documents (usually ID and credit card or utility bill).

3-star: 1000/wk, rating increased after spending 1500.

4-star: 3000/wk, rating increased after spending 3000.

5-star: 10000/wk, email support to request a transaction-limit increase.

 

Debit/Prepaid Card

For a $10 issuing fee, Click2Pay offers a prepaid Maestro card that can be used for purchases at any merchant accepting Maestro. The card can also be used to withdraw at any ATM (cash machine) accepting Maestro or Cirrus. Unfortunately, a rather high fee of 2% (up to $15) is charged for ATM withdrawals (in addition to the fee charged by the ATM owner). On a positive note, no currency exchange fee is charged for ATM withdrawals. This card is licensed under MasterCard International and issued by cArdsysTeMs FZ LLC.

 

Peer-to-peer Transfers

Click2Pay does not allow peer-to-peer transfers.

 

Exchange Rates

Click2Pay uses Commercebank to determine currency exchange rates.
